Zero Defects International Introduces Taiyo PCB Inspection System

Zero Defects International [ZDI] has been designated by Taiyo Industrial Company, Japan, to manage the North American introduction of it’s programmed printed circuit board final inspection systems. These inspection systems have gained widespread success in Europe and in Asian countries and are now being brought to the America and Canada.

Prior to starting this mission, ZDI contacted a variety of PCB makers as a way to determine whether there would be a perceived desire for this sort of equipment. The judgement was that the product is one that will conduct a beneficial function and, also, present a very ideal ROI.

Latest initial trials in the US have proved that the machine managed to discover defects that passed traditional visual inspection but should have been flagged as not meeting the end customer’s spec. Detection capabilities comprise of: exposed copper, solder mask on pads, scratches, foreign material, blocked holes and chipped plating.

Zero Defects International [ZDI] has been appointed by Taiyo Industrial Company, Japan, to manage the North American introduction of it’s programmed printed circuit board final inspection systems. These inspection systems have enjoyed popular success in Europe and in Japan and are right now being brought in to the USA and Canada.

Previous to commencing this task, ZDI contacted a range of PCB producers so as to see if there would be a perceived desire for this kind of equipment. The popular opinion was that the product is one that will conduct a very important function and, concurrently, present a very acceptable Return on investment.
