In this video, I will demo how to change the settings of the ubiquitous HC-05 Bluetooth module using the AT command set. The HC-05 comes with a rich set of AT commands to perform various tasks such as changing the module’s default settings including changing the pass code, the device name, and the baud rate. They are different from the HC-05 in that they cannot work in master mode- only slave mode.

I found a few sites and docs before I tried this test which I link to in the captions. They made it completely painless to interface the Bluetooth with my Arduino projects. Super cheap and effective communication. I couldn’t be happier with them.
