More of a tired and subdued video this time. Just testing to see if my camera setup will do the job for the GBA1000 assembly project.

Zero Defects International [ZDI] has been assigned by Taiyo Industrial Company, Japan, to manage the North American introduction of it’s automated printed circuit board final inspection systems. These inspection systems have enjoyed prevalent success in European Union and in Asia and are currently being brought in to the United States and Canada.
Just prior to starting this assignment, ZDI contacted different PCB makers as a way to see whether there would be a perceived need for this kind of equipment. The general opinion was that the product is one that will conduct a beneficial function and, also, offer a very favorable Return on investment.
Recent initial trials in the USA have shown that the machine surely could discover flaws which passed standard visual inspection but should have been flagged as not meeting the end customer’s standard. Diagnosis capabilities comprise of: exposed copper, solder mask on pads, scratches, foreign material, blocked holes and chipped plating.
