I’ve seen previous videos where the raspberry pi 2 had some lagging issues streaming from steam over a network so I wasn’t convinced to get the Raspberry Pi 2. But once the announcement of the Raspberry Pi 3 came, I was on it straight away and had one of the first orders in.

With it’s 1GB of ram and a Quad Core 1.2ghz CPU, this little beast could potentialy be the streaming device I was looking for. Not just for Moonlight (the client to stream from STEAM), but also for emulation.

This is the Ultimate Raspberry Pi 3 Steam Streaming Machine!

Spoiler Alert, the Raspberry Pi 3 streams flawlessly from Steam over the 10/100 network. I haven’t tested this over WiFi yet as my WiFi is not up to scratch.

The kit comes with a Raspberry Pi 3, a 32GB Micro SD Card, HDMI Cable, Power Supply, Case, Heat Sinks and an awesome black case! NOOBS is already installed for you on the SD Card!

With a Quad Core 1.2Ghz processor, the Raspberry Pi 3 is 35% more powerful than the Raspberry Pi 2.
