Zero Defects International Brings in Taiyo PCB Inspection System
Zero Defects International [ZDI] has been assigned by Taiyo Industrial Company, Japan, to manage the North American introduction of it’s computerized printed circuit board final inspection systems. These inspection systems have earned prevalent success in European Union and in Asian countries and are right now being introduced to the USA and Canada.
Ahead of beginning this assignment, ZDI contacted various PCB makers so that they can determine if there would be a perceived need for this type of equipment. The popular opinion was that the product is one that will do a very important function and, at the same time, provide a very suitable Return on investment.
Recent initial trials in the United States have shown that the machine surely could locate imperfections that passed traditional visual inspection but should have been flagged as not meeting the end customer’s specification.
